Revelation 2:18 KJV
"And unto the angel of thewrite; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass;"
John receives a vision of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in heavenly glory. sending a message to through the spirit of God that is the minister to group believers.
Revelation 2:19 KJV
"I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first."
Jesus says He knows your efforts and the heart put into your faith in God. He sees your love for God and your love toward fellow humanity and other believers. He sees how you have been patiently waiting in service to God, and that your latest works are even better than when you started.
Revelation 2:20 KJV
"Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols."
There is one thing you have allowed to continue, intentionally or unintentionally: the influence of people who say they are from God, those who claim to be pastors or ministers, but are actually wicked.
They claim to believe in God but have no works to show for it.
They are proud, exalting themselves through titles and positions and taking glory from men.
They show no trace of humility, distancing themselves from the lowly believers for vain reasons and standing in defiance of God because their hearts are not with Him.
These people are expert teachers on how to live for the rat race, activities with no glorious end, this is a life with no purpose, disguised as purposeful: they teach on how to gain favour with men, how to excel in a career, and how to partake in worldly affairs without seeking the Kingdom of God first.
Revelation 2:21 KJV
"And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not."
God has watched them and even intervened on their behalf with blessings, protection and even wisdom to give them a chance to change their ways and honour Him.
But these people, carrying the spirit of Jezebel, have not repented; some even believe they are in right standing with God.
Revelation 2:22 KJV
"Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds."
The true owner of the Church, Jesus Christ Himself, will bring trouble upon them; the same trouble that unbelievers and those who worship other gods deserve.
Revelation 2:23 KJV
"And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works."
In this trouble, everyone who follows her ways, her doctrine, and the fellowship of these evil teacher will face death. This death comes because they have been led astray and have fellowshipped with untried spirits. Their death will serve as a warning to others, letting them know that God watches the heart and sees the true reasons behind everything they do.
They will face the consequences of their faith.
Revelation 2:24 KJV
"But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden."
To everyone who does not follow the teachings of these unrepenting and proud people, and those who haven’t indulged in the deceptions of the prince of this world (Satan), Jesus Christ wants you to know that He sees you as righteous.
Revelation 2:25 KJV
"But that which ye have [already] hold fast till I come."
The things you are doing, continue to do them. Continue in love, faith, and patience toward God in service to His will.
Revelation 2:26 KJV
"And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:"
When you continue to abide in the Holy Spirit, doing as the Holy Spirit teaches you, the result will be that you see and experience the power you have been given over this world and in the world to come.
Revelation 2:27 KJV
"And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father."
And you will be charged with the command to exert the power and will of God: to bless and to curse, to save, forgive and to condemn, just as Jesus Christ did on earth and in heaven, by the power of His Father, our Father.
Revelation 2:28 KJV
"And I will give him the morning star."
The glory of God will be given to them, to shine like the morning star.
Revelation 2:29 KJV
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."
